Enable ads
The app shows available, approved ads in your menu bar. A valid minute is 60 uninterrupted seconds that pass visibility and session checks. You can pause anytime.

Track earnings and payouts
Track your earnings in the dashboard and add your payout details. Earnings mature after 5 days; available balances of €10 or more enter the weekly payout review.

For every 1,000 valid ad minutes, the advertiser pays €6: €4.20 goes to the people showing the ads and €1.80 to AdSurface before referral commissions. AdSurface funds referral rewards from its own share. If you accumulate 1,000 valid minutes on your Mac, you earn €4.20.

How much do referrals earn?
You earn 10% of each referral’s base earnings from valid ad exposures funded with purchased credit, with no expiry. AdSurface pays this from its own share; the invited person keeps their full base reward. Promotional credit, purchases and other referral rewards are excluded. There is no signup bonus.
How is my referrer assigned?
The last valid invitation link visited within 14 days is applied automatically at first signup. The association is permanent; existing accounts cannot add or change a referrer. Referral commissions mature after 120 hours and join your earnings balance, with a €10 combined payment minimum. They accumulate even without bank details, but payment requires completed setup and checks.
What am I paid for?
You receive 70% of the media price for each complete, eligible minute. At €6 per 1,000 minutes, that is €4.20 per 1,000 valid minutes. Availability, campaign budgets and visibility affect earnings.
When can I receive a payout?
Earnings mature after five days, unless held for review. Available balances of €10 or more enter the weekly Monday review. Complete payout setup before your balance reaches €5 to keep earning from your own exposures. Referral commissions continue to accumulate. Bank processing and country requirements can affect arrival.
Can I pause the ads?
Yes. Pause for 30 minutes, 2 hours, 6 hours, the rest of the day or indefinitely. Paused, interrupted or uncertain minutes never earn or consume campaign credit.
Does AdSurface read my screen?
No screen contents, files, browsing history or keystrokes are collected. The Mac app checks its own placement and basic session eligibility. Account, payment and delivery records are needed to run the service.
Where is AdSurface available?
Our target markets are the EEA, UK, Switzerland, US and Canada. Paid earning opens country by country after payment eligibility is verified. Check the country selector below for current availability.
Are clicks required?
No. Clicks are optional and never earn extra rewards. Advertisers pay for eligible minutes, not clicks or guaranteed attention.
